The build quality of the product is great.
The wired connection for samsung dex works very well indeed and is smooth and fluid. Works perfectly as an additional PC monitor also. The touch screen works well and so does the keyboard and trackpad
The wireless connection is problematic for samsung dex . It can be unstable. I think via miracast etc it is absolutely fine to stream content wirelessly but samsung dex struggles a bit.
The display panel plays video content well, it looks sharp and good. The colour reproduction might not match the very best displays but it is more than satisfactory.

For the price I'm very happy indeed compared to uperfect for example. The battery life of the monitor is solid and class leading for lapdocks too. I would definitely recommend this product

Wireless DEX with Samsung S21 works perfectly. Lapdock is lightweight, great quality and the Dopesplay service centre was responsive to my questions.
There's not much to love about this product. Going to mostly retire my chromebook now... my mobile phone (and trusty lapdock) does it all.

This lapdock is great value at this price point. I initially purchased the wired version of the Dopesplay display and really enjoyed the interface through DEX and my s22 Ultra. I've been able to travel without having to bring my windows laptop around anymore. I was pretty eager to jump into the wireless version since the wired option worked so well. The office I work in has pretty terrible cellular service and this device allows me to keep the phone outside of the office (about 10 feet away) and still interface with it through DEX. No connection drops after about a month of daily use but there is a slight delay, so I wouldn't recommend it for anyone trying to play games wirelessly. For general admin tasks it's a perfect solution. Previous reviews mentioned defective cables but I'm glad to say that all of the accessories that came with my devices, both the wired and wireless version work without any issues. It's probably not ideal for all users but it works very well for my needs. Now I just need Samsung to support dual monitor output with DEX and I can run both of these at the same time for maximum productivity.

I tried this with four different devices. I could get everything but the display paired/mirrored on an iphone 14 pro and motorola g power - I tried everything - connected via a cable and mirroring wirelessly - nothing worked. There's no lightning cable included btw so you'll need to bring your own.

I was able to connect an iphone XS pretty easily but you're basically just doing screen mirroring with this device. The keyboard works but you have no cursor to navigate the screen, and no touch functionality (which the seller mentions) with apple products, so it's pretty much useless unless you just want to mirror your phone to a 15" screen. Anything like messages or facetime or anything else I can think of that you might use this for, if it worked as I'd hoped, can be accomplished on a mac that's sync'd with your phone.

I was able to get it connected with an android tablet running android 11. Everything sync'd up and worked well but what's the point - for 40 bucks you can get an external bluetooth keyboard and have the same functionality for a fraction of the price.

I get it - if this thing worked as advertised it'd be great. Keep this in the car or wherever for when you're stuck and you just don't want to have to deal with doing stuff on your phone with it's small screen and having to type like you're texting. The hardware is actually really nice. The build quality is like a cross between a macbook and a really thin dell 2 in 1 laptop. The trackpad is a little bit "clicketty" and cheap feeling, but overall if this were an actual laptop I'd be pretty impressed with its quality.

For the price, get a cheap burner laptop or chromebook and do what you need to on that instead of going through all of the pairing and possible connection issues. It's definitely a nice machine though, and if you have a use for it you'll probably be more than happy with it, but it just didn't live up to expectations for me.
