In the packaging i didnt get a european charging brick it might be my mistake but i cant use it becouse i live in the netherlands where the charging bricks are differen

Bislang war ich großer Fan von Chromebooks, bis Google den Android Desktop realisiert hat: mein Pixel 9 Pro ist deutlich leistungsfähiger als die meisten Chromebooks. Meine bisherige Konfiguration aus Phone, großem Bildschirm, separater Tastatur und Maus war auf Dauer nicht optimal, da kam mir die Idee, wie toll es doch wäre, wenn es sowas gäbe wie ein Lapdock - wie sich schnell herausstellte, waren bereits andere vor mir auf diese Idee gekommen!
Dieses 14" Lapdock ist zum einen sehr gut gebaut, tolle Tastatur (leider nur US-Layout, aber auf Wunsch hintergrundbeleuchtet, wenn auch nur in einer Helligkeitsstufe), die auch nicht flext beim Schreiben. Der Bildschirm ist gut, könnte allerdings eine höhere Auflösung vertragen. Trotzdem völlig in Ordnung. Wenn man die Schutzfolie abzieht (die habe ich erst jetzt beim Schreiben entdeckt!), wird er deutlich schärfer und die Benutzung mit dem Finger, vorher etwas stumpf, funktioniert jetzt auch wie erwartet. Das Trackpad tut auch seinen Dienst, nur scheint es (oder Android) kein drag-and-drop zu beherrschen, alles andere funktioniert aber. Der Touchscreen macht das ganze perfekt, wie auch der eingebaute Akku, der das Telefon im Betrieb lädt, wenn auch nur langsam. Ich habe für zuhause noch eine BT-Maus, unterwegs geht's aber auch problemlos ohne.
Ich finde das ganze wirklich toll und kann nur jedem vor dem Kauf eines Chromebooks empfehlen, so ein Lapdock ins Auge zu fassen, vorausgesetzt, das vorhandene Telefon beherrscht Video-out über USB und es verfügt über Android 17 (16 geht auch schon, war aber bei mir nicht brauchbar). Das Optimum stellt wohl DeX von Samsung dar (das funktioniert sogar drahtlos, allerdings nicht mit diesem Dock), das muss es aber gar nicht sein. Der Vorteil für die Nutzung des Telefons ist, dass sämtliche Apps, auch WhatsApp und Instagram, auf dem großen Bildschirm und mit Tastatur funktionieren. Nicht jede App ist für den großen Screen optimiert, aber ich denke das kommt nach und nach. Im Sinne der Continuity kann ich auf dem Lapdock mit den Browserseiten weitermachen, die ich vorher schon auf dem Telefon genutzt habe.
Ein Nachteil gibt's auch: die matten Tastenköpfe sind sehr fettempfindlich.

I received the 14.1'' 1080P Touchscreen 10800 mAh Battery Keyboard Portable Lapdock very quickly and it works perfectly with my Google pixel 9 pro phone! Its very simple to use and very good build quality. Also communication with the company was very good. they always replied quickly for whatever i needed to ask and find out. I highly recommend getting the Lapdock!

Im using that lapdock with my OnePlus 12, after the desktop mode with task bar works ok, I can't wait for androir 16 and Im hope the desktop mode will be included and much much better. From device if noticed two anouying things like specific noise after plug the phone to lapdock and charging, its kind of very hight ultra sound - I think its problem with diffrence in electricity, some times I would like to disconect the keyboard - but i cant, only full tablet mode can do that and touch pad not work pretty well - but we will see how its gona made in android 16. For this moment it's the best lapdock what I had (I tried many) and Im pretty sure I will using that in daily, but it's not perfect. I would like to pay much more even if few option as I mentioned could be solved. Best regards.
